Two maroon ghiblis yesterday both whilst doing chores in the Subaru - first around midday leaving Ledbury heading towards Malvern and then followed the second with a female driver on the Worcester Road leaving Evesham around 4.30.

I suspect it would be very quiet around here if drift was a banning offence.

How about a thread drift thread?
But what we call it because any subject on thread would be off thread by default therefore not a thread drift
My head hurts already

I haven't seen this car in the flesh, as it were. Spotted the ad on Gumtree a few days ago.
The selling collector / dealer says, "FINISHED IN A FANTASTIC COLOUR COMBINATION."
His caps. Not mine. The whole ad was in caps.
So here is a teaser. For your delectation.
74717

Here's the ad link. Its about twenty minutes from me.
Should anyone be seriously interested and want me to go have a look at it
and interrogate the seller. Not a problem.
QP for sale on the North Coast of Northern Ireland. [Gumtree]
Same QP. Advertised on eBay.
Interestingly, there are some options like the seat back shelves and what appears to be a complete
entertainment gubbins between the front seats, that I've not seen that often in older QPs.
I've no idea who this guy is.

Just want to interject with a point of order. There are now 66 Wimpy locations. 62 in England, 3 North of the border and a unique one in Welsh Wales. Norn Iron folk have to go without.

That's a colour combination QP that I would have in my eyes beautiful.
Could be an easy fix my guess a leaking shock.
A good inspection needed especially the front subframe but I think it looks very pretty and less face it 10 grand is nothing these days.
The seller has a lovely stock list on his Ebay as.

To be fair. I've noticed of late, that camera flashes can really screw with colours. Especially in relatively low light.
I like the exterior. I'd have to go look at the interior in person to see if it really is dead David Dickinson in there!
Lack of a ZF auto box would be a dealbreaker though, as I'd only be using it in traffic.

This is true, and further research (i.e. Wikipedia) suggests that Wimpy's UK presence is now a husk of its former self... down from 500 iterations in the 70's to around 67 in last year.

On the subject of Farnborough specifically, beyond the airport adorned with Citations and Learjets, I always had it in my mind that Farnborough was an affluent town. A trip down the high street last year challenged that pre-conception... I do love the architecture featuring on the street-view snippet above.

I now stand in-line to be disciplined by @midlifecrisis for my Wimpy-centric transgression..
I used to fly to Farnborough in a company Embraer 145 jet weekly for years. 45 minute trip from Warton (Preston). A fantastic way of beating the traffic on a Friday afternoon! Miss this now I'm retired. Remember there was a great Chinese restaurant in Farnborough called 'Wings'. Think it's now closed.
