Nice one Matt. It's a great way to keep fit. How you getting on with the SPD's? Fallen off yet? :D.. You will. Great bike as well. C2C is coast to coast. Join us on our next coast to coast if you like? :D :D

I did not know you were into cycling Miles????

If you are serious about joining you in a run would love to. What sort of distance are we talking as I need to build fitness. I recon I could cope with 50 miles with a couple of 15 min breaks.

I need to be able to reach 70-80 miles a day for an event I am gunning for. Can't divulge too much yet.

Yes I cycled every day in my younger years and off and on for the past 5 - 6 years doing a coast to coast each May for charity with the guys at work. We've done pretty much all the coast to coasts in the UK and I'm sure we'll be doing another next May if you fancy it. They're usually about 150 - 200 miles in three days, so not too taxing distance wise, but certainly hilly on at least two of the three days. I'm between bikes at the moment having just sold my last mountain bike. I'm too old to carry the extra weight now, and I don't do that type of cycling anymore, so it's the wrong tool for the job. Just in the process of deciding on a decent road bike.
