There were worse posts than those that were left after you locked the thread? OMG. I miss ALL the fun! :0036:
If you deleted the posts as you thought necessary, I don't see the justification of then locking the thread.
Seems a bit like knifing a guy in the heart and then shooting him in the head.
I'd be interested (not really) as to how you define relevant. Nearly 850 posts and 32,000 views?
When I said 'you' I was referring to the collective 'you'. 'Y'all' if that helps.
S'ok, it ain't a thing. Just another 3.9 Hryvnia. ;)

Going in or coming out. Not much difference Nibby. Unless you're Catholic and/or gay
But, you're right of course.
Forty three years ago.
Gawd. That's depressing!
If the Russians had've taken the hint and gone to Funkytown instead of Kabul,
thousands of Russian squaddies would've had a much more enjoyable vacation.
They found it heavy going, Afghanistan is relatively close to the old Soviet Union and they (Soviet Union) seem to value life less than the Western World so it was always going to be a tall order for us and the Americans.
ps Drones had not been invented which didn't help us at the time.

I was only being a silly Billy, Nibby.
To be serious for a nano second.
"They found it heavy going."?
The phrase I would choose would be something like.
Failure was baked-in from the beginning.

Because to degenerated into name calling, swearing and wasn’t car related.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t miss it at all. All it represents to me is a thread where people go to shout (type) their opinion into an abyss over and over. Occasionally the abyss shouts back with a retort, generally a ferocious disagreement. If there is the appetite to go on the ride one more time, then so be it.

The “Opening our Homes to Ukrainians” thread remains open, because a) it didn’t degenerate and b) was about people doing something good in a difficult situation.

Dance music links on the other hand, unlikely to result in “Global Thermonuclear Keyboard War”.

There's no need for the name calling swearing etc. However, given 90% of the posts on here are not car related (can blame Maserati for their failure to launch new sports cars for that) I don't see why it should have been closed.

Could be a good place to trial the 'Cooler'.

Just my 2 penneth.

6music did an hour playing their previous album Newbuild, last Saturday and it's available on Sounds. If you know your acid, you should have this in your collection...

There were plenty of of bands who were far better than 808 State at Acid House and house music in general. They had a couple of hits and that was it.

Great album came out in 1995 from a French guy called St Germain, the album was called Boulevard, deep underground house music. First heard a track from it being played in the Ministry Of Sound called Thank U Mum 4 Everything You Did

I've a few of their tracks in my collection. Alabama Blues is my personal favourite.

Wassa wrong wiv ju?
I dunno what's wrong with me. Sometimes a song will replay in my head
for days, after its mentioned or played. That's what I was afraid of in this case.
Thankfully, it didn't happen. This time. Close call.

Just to make sure. If you put bouncing, balls, hill into YT, you get this beautiful piece of music.
I've been trying to find this for months and months and months.
