Hear hear!! It's one brand I've never particularly admired - they're the most profitable form of badge engineering which ultimately means the owner gets an inferior car.

There is a reason why most Audi's perform poorly in the dynamics section of most comparison tests - they're up against competition that are genuinely engineered to a price point yet an Audi is almost always based on the underpinnings which stem from something else in the V A G group. The only one that doesn't....the R8. The only one that gets positive dynamic reviews....the R8.

A very sterile drive Audi ..... Always amazes me when I drive ride in an RS model how fast they are but how broing they are to .... Just to do not excite ..... The R8 changes that but even that is not the full bodied drivers machine it should be...That is a lovely looking Audi though especially in convertable form.
