I watch all the car shows just to watch and see cars. I don't really car for the entertainment value too much. I watch 5th gear and find it decent enough that I watch each week.
I'll watch Jay Leno's garage as it is all about cars and with many I have never seen before.

If I want to be entertained I'll watch a film or a comic panel show or documentary.

Maybe stop trying to make a car show entertainment and just make it about cars. If you like cars you'll watch it. If you don't you won't. I don't see how you can please both sides.

I tend to like all the American shows, fast & loud, American hot rod, misfit garage, the chopper one, not that I'm in to American cars/bikes but just love the skill and craftsmanship of what they do with cars/bikes out there, there's nothing like that here in the uk which is a shame, wheeler dealers, car sos all good but simply not on the same level

Evans in the morning killed R2 there for me, then Jo Wiley killed drive time. DAB radios in all the cars and a healthy dose of Planet Rock morning and evening now.

I'm not a huge fan of car shows on the TV. Tend to watch that sort of thing on YouTube now, Harry's Garage etc. I do watch TGT because its ridiculous, has some vague car interest, and I'm of their age and would probably do the same if I had the money...

PS. I'm sure Jo Wiley is a nice person, she's just not a good DJ. She's not Fearne Cotton bad though, someone else now on R2 because she must either a) be cheap, or b) have some dirt on someone high up in the BBC.

If their own show was a raving success, then I'm sure he would be, but it's not really is it?

It is. It's one of Amazon's most successful originals. Depending on how you measure the data and return on investment (which is hard with a subscription service), the costs to produce compared with the number of views has been extremely good and way ahead of all other Amazon original productions. Everyone a winner! Except, perhaps, for the BBC to which we all so dutifully pay our TV license fees.

Blimey. How old are you lot?? The only person I know that listens to R2 are my parents.

Age is something you realise has happened when your kids don’t qualify for 18-30 Holidays anymore.

Great to see the Contigo version of Clarkson, at 2.40 into that Harry and Paul clip!
