loved the Jaguar.....what a small boot??

Is the spare on the F-Type a space-saver, Dem? Even if it's not I don't think I'd fit a carry-on bag into that boot. Great car, hopelessly impractical. I look forward to seeing the coupe

Bollox! The boot is adequate. Just bin the wheel and carry a can of plop and a small tyre inflator. Can't see the point in carrying a spare wheel in a sports car. A chunk of extra weight for no practical benefit.

Looked tiny on the telly, not seen one in the flesh. Agreed re canning the spare but it still looked miniscule.

Totally agree.

I'm now on my 3rd Mas in six and a half years and none of them have had a spare and never needed the gunk or tyre inflator.

Only issue for me is would my golf clubs fit in the boot???

Ever looked in the boot of an Audi quattro? As in, the original Ur-quattro... There's a spare wheel of sorts, but no room for anything deeper than a briefcase, and should you need to use the spacesaver spare, the discovery dawns that the standard alloy won't fit, so it's going on the back seat...

Pointless. Much better to use a can of gunk and/or Green Flag.

I had Vredstein on the 42 & Falken 452 on the 32 without issue.

Would happily use either again.

Just re-read my post above, and realised I didn't actually make the point I intended! Looked to me from the TG shot that there won't be room in the F-type boot for a standard alloy, and since there are no rear seats, where is it going?

Nah, it's crarp, Dem. The coupe is pretty good (350 litres or so, iirc) but the boot in the cab is taken up almost entirely by roof. On my old Merc convertible you could fold away the roof storage section of the boot so you could fit in an ok amount of stuff with the roof up. Nice piece of design.

Anyone coming to Brunty tomorrow will get to see one up close .... We are hoping to get the Stig to do two laps in it and auction a passenger ride with him.
