The caravan sketch could have made an excellent review (for a change) Mrs RSM wants one, as being a grandma the 2 door mini is not very practical - so I watched eagerly as they firstly discounted the Rav 4 (my 3rd choice) and went for the VW and Mazda (2nd and 1st choice).

The 'review' then went to pot as they trashed the caravans over hill, down dale and through puddles - brilliant I was in stitches! I thought both cars seemed to fare reasonably well cross country, considering most will never experience dirt.

Clarkson's point of why not buy the equally well equipped and CHEAPER Golf - did set the grey matter going

Agreed, the caravan part was excellent. Very funny and all the better for it not being so tightly scripted. The fact that May and Clarkson were in stitches made it all the better.

It was all brilliant......My son has watched it over and over again. He was crying with laughter with the caravan bit.

Frank, I'm terrified that he is! Imagine... those two cars in your garage, a life of comfort, emotional and financial fulfilment an, easy charm and film-star looks to greet you in the mirror every morning. I need to know that he has warts or something. It would make me feel sooo much better.

I've never met him, but from what I've heard he sounds like a nice enough bloke. But worse is the fact that those are not his only cars...he's got other nice ones to!!

The Huayra is the one in this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSweFaqKisk
(It's not him driving/in the vid)

I still wear a ponytail and I keep a pair of old 70's flairs handy just in case I have to upset any of the boring local French grockle population that happens to live down this way..
I must say though guys, this current series of TG is turning out to be one of the best!
