Great to read David.
We really should meet up again, it has been years!
You need to hear what this thing sounds like now.
Great to read David.
I need to replace the (4?) lambda sensors on my recently-acquired 3200GT (2001 model). Are these correct for my car, if not, what are the Bosch part numbers? The CEL is permanently on, and I am hoping new sensors will fix this. The car starts and runs nicely, although the TB wil probably need 'doing' soon, as it has 97 thousand kms up.
Thank you for that. There appears to be 4 sensors - are they all LC 05? I intend to remove the exhaust pipes (to fix a leak in the auto) anyhow, so that's the time to fit new sensors. Could that number be LS 05, by any chance?
Hi, is the LC05 Bosch sensor you're referring to the one up above the cat or the one after the cat? My UK 01 AC has 2 each exhaust and they are different size? CheersThe original Bosch part number listed in the Workshop manual has been superceded. The correct Bosch number is LC 05. These units are very cheap, but lack nothing in quality,A$80 each delivered in Australia ! You will need the special sensor removal tool, unless you remove the exhaust pipes. Bosch supply some connectors with the new sensors, however, the wires on the sensors are long enough to be soldered into the existing connectors. This way is neater & looks original. An easy job if you have the special removal spanner, good luck.
