Overpriced or right??

Been looking at GTVs and saw this......

I feel its slightly high but then again depends on what has been done......

Would have to find out why he put the face lift bumper on..Was it because he liked it better or was it banged......Dem, it looks a ******* mind you. If it is a straight as they say could be worth having....Only thing is can you not ger a 3.2 for about a grand more.......Either way worth a look.

not for me....the conversion puts me off...you buy one that is newer or you buy the phase 2.....

My feeling is the ad is long on hyperbole and short on details.
It looks in nice nick, wheels probably have been refurbed, it's been detailed, maybe leather and carpets done. Also rear wishbones.

Not seeing a huge amount of other stuff....

A mate of mine is looking for one of those limited edition GTV Cup things,there was a low miles one in Blackpool for 8k....I said to him for a couple of grand more he could buy a Maser,I know what car I'd choose!

Can't argue, Dave. Thinking of the other thread: 'bit of a mini -maser' Mrs Catman had one (granted only a TS but it was *nothing* like the 4200. Not even in the same class as my Alfa GT at the time. Cheaper, tinnier, much easier to fix. Just no comparison IMHO.

Too right Dem...The Cups are a waste of money and the only thing different is the body kit and the seats aren't full leather. Not engine modes or anything.....It was a way to sell a few more yet punters still pay over the odds....You can get a great GTV with some great mods to make it better for £3500 or pay 6k for a Cup.....Plus I never liked the horrid bood spoiler that spoils the lines.

My last GTV with the Konis, exhaust upgrade, Q2 and better breaks was a far better car than a Cup....and it didn't have the rear spoiler. But you know all that anyway Dem.....

I had 2 Andy, a twin with the kit and a V6 without and the V6 was better looking, i dont want one with a spoiler.....

Think they are a great looking coupe, always liked them from the minute they came out, had my 33P4 at the time.
Just a shame they are FWD, or is it?

Alfa tried to address the FWD issue by building the 4WD system for the Brera. Spent loads of R&D money, but the system actually made the car very heavy (1760 kilos), and slower than the GTV for 0-60.
