Genuine question, do you think that driving a long distance for a service is really essential right now, or even allowed. Personally, if I was buying a car in a years time and saw that the service had been neglected, I would be inclined to make an allowance for obvious reasons. There is only one place within fifty miles from where I live that I would take my car for it’s service, I’m not prepared to do that at present. How about this one in today's world of Covid looking for the locking wheel nut and service book.

Totally agreed in 2020 I only did 8,500 kilometres in 3 cars and that included a trip to the UK before the first lockdown.Genuine question, do you think that driving a long distance for a service is really essential right now, or even allowed. Absolutely, but so many times you hear someone say, stay clear of that car it hasn’t had its yearly service, even though it’s only travelled a couple of thousand miles in that year. Don’t get me wrong, irrespective of mileage I have had my cars serviced yearly in the past, but unfortunately things have changed and that is not going to be possible for a lot of people. So we have to be realistic and use some common sense.Totally agreed in 2020 I only did 8,500 kilometres in 3 cars and that included a trip to the UK before the first lockdown.
Looking at how this year has started I'm wondering how many will be done this year.
