Just a thought but be careful if they don't turn up, could end up in the wrong hands to your detriment re tickets etc. Not sure you can do anything and you will have papers to show they disappeared.

you're right - I made this point.

they have just turned up - 10 days late.

they had put completely the wrong address on them.

I also attach the plates with velcro and have fully legal plates in the car so they can be swapped at a moments notice if there ever is a problem.
Old thread this, apologies for the digging up.

Firstly, how do you stick the velcro on the plates? Where did you get (I assume) sticky velco from?

Finally, for those who are just after totally legal plates at a decent price, I paid £7.99 a pair, delivered, off eBay - I dont think the car would wear them permenantly, but they'll do the trick if I get a pull at any point! NB, I'm not into butchered plates, but I would like to have my plate with no spaces in.

ETA - this is the fella. http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/djhplates/

Is it sticky stuff Dem? That'll do the trick! Putting a plate on the Cooper today and dont want to do the permenant thing as 'slightly' dodgy spacing looks a bit better on my plate (no spaces, but correct font etc). Will probably go fully leagal as the missus will be in the Mini the most and a pull from the Police is all she needs!

buy 1 metre of them £1.50, then double up when you put it on your plate...also when you put it on the car so its like your using 4 strips....should be alright..i live in london with humps and they still there

Thoroughly recommended Dem. Prompt service, good quality product and excellent communication via ebay about order/delivery etc.

100% positive feedback on 40,000 orders tells you everything you need to know.

Bought mine on ebay from seller: holding23 £14 inc delivery It was a very good service and arrived in 24 hrs, they have a really easy designer that allows you to enter spaces as y o u see fit!

Mine is N3 OOF and I got it made up as N 300 F simple border Euro GB and a few custom words along the bottom; It's a bit of fun...

Not had any attention from the heavies yet so I guess it is close enough, time will tell.

Cheers,
