My understanding of the issue is related ONLY to early Auto cars, which was a change in the engine from a dry sump to a wet sump. The problem is due to oil starvation on start. From what I have been told, and my research, this should only affect early 07 model year Autos, if it affects things at all. I had thought there was a recall on this, but haven't looked for it recently.
