Does anybody have an electronic copy of the sales brochure so that I can reference it when looking at buying one?

Its a vehicle security tracking system that came as standard when new but you have to keep up the subsciption I believe.......

You will see the Sports package had 19 inch wheels......In late 2005 the package was updated to the 20 inch wheels that were on the QP GT Sport......

Go for it as you only live once ... I will say if you get a good one they don't have to cost a fortune .... ask some owners off here. Enzo has one and I believe his is a 2004 and has been very reliable....It's the clutch that is the big bill at 2k.....servicing is pretty good these days and there is a chap in Chepstow by me that is superb and can do services and is very reasonable price wise. He is a BMW, TVR'S specialist but looks after a number of 4200 CC's and was a mechanic for Ferrari and Maserati as well as others. What he doesn't know about cars ain't worth knowing and I wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else. His garage is called Forza West.

This is the best part:

"Three year piece of mind service package"

A piece of your mind will be consumed with worry about the clutch...

The Big Bills are a myth IMO any 400HP Supercar just needs TLC
From Experience you just need to budget for Tyres / Braked & Annual Servicing at an Indy,

I reckon on average you need to budget £1500/ year to look after & preserve the best allround supercar money can buy,

Had my GT sport for approaching 3 years now & have nonplans to change anytime soon :)

Dave is right...I have not heard of any horrow stories with the QP.... They seem to be very reliable and with love and care most just need a reg service which can be resonable at a specialist these days................Just watch the clutch which you will hear time and time again.

Thanks for that. I've just thrown it into Excel and priced up mine: £96,189.00.

Thank you first owner, I like the spec choices you made. I hope they gave you some discount on it.

Agree. Obviously electronic things like the nav unit, a/c etc can fail and are expensive to fix but you can always go for refurb replacements to save.

Depends how old your car is. Many of the early cars were private purchases but later cars were sold company sales as demand from private punters had moved onto GranTurismo by 2007.

Well ............... I have taken the plunge and bought my first Maserati ! QPV on an 04 plate. It makes me smile every time I look at it. Parked it up at work and the boss was completely envious. Didn't park it with the masses and left it by the VIP area! I think the car is good as it has much service history and the last bill from Carrs for £6,300.
I have noted the following:-
1. Squeaky front suspension - went to my local garage that I trust and they put it up on their ramp. Nothing untoward so I sprayed the joints with a ptfe spray and hopefully that will help
2. Boot opener not working so will strip it down and check the connections - previous owner said it needed some contact cleaner, not helped by the fact it was jet washed and water went through the rubber switch area (I think)
3. Need to change the bulb in the drivers wing mirror - how do I get it out?
4. Need to replace the drivers wing mirror glass - expensive? how do I swap it over?
Otherwise, pulls like a train and gets admired by everybody!
I'll forget the fact it will cost an arm and a leg in petrol........

Hopefully I will have some time over the weekend to spruce her up a little!! After the purchase, a rather disgruntled Mrs HB is demanding that a shopping trip is in order..... !!
