I could take 43 guesses. If i exclude the ones who i know it cant be then im still left with a few and a few i have no idea how old they were when they took office. Scatter gun approach is it one of these : Ulysses Grant, Bill Clinton, Teddy Roosevelt, Barack Obhama ? Although i think Barack was about 46 ish when he took office.

You know it is £5 per guess, right?

A scattergun...but there was the correct answer in there... Theodore Roosevelt (1901 –1909) he was 42.

Second was JFK was 43. (John F. Kennedy). Obama is fifth youngest.

So over to you

As "Teddy Roosevelt" is correct should the forfeit be rounded up to £25 - recognising the informality of answer?

Seeing as the Teddy bear was names after him then i should get a £5 discount instead of a fine :)

This can be deemed fair representation, however, the defence has failed to state the aforementioned President actually hated the reference. Although not my call there is perhaps an anecdotal case to increase the fine still further. Is there a "tour" judge? ;)

What is the oldest registered trade mark for a watch company ?

As a couple of related side question whats the oldest registered trademark in the UK ?

Which company has the oldest logo which was not registered as a trademark or logo until much later than its first use ?

Watchmaker wins the next question. The side questions are just for fun and have you searching the grey matter for a bit. :)

Perhaps we should leave the fines decision to the person who started this thread ! :lol2:

I rather suspect it's Longines, is it not?

C

That took no time :) at all Mr C. Longines is the oldest registered trademark for a watch company. The logo being an hour glass with angel wings.

Care to take a guess on the side questions ?

Your question Chris. I will reveal the side question answers in a short while if you dont know them.

I do know them but only cos I googled, so leave for someone else.

Question that was on the Brain of Britain today.

The movie Incubus starred William Shatner. It was virtually unique for what reason?
