With the recent discussion about whether or not you guys want to go racing with a forum car I just thought I would let you know we will be having our last outing of 2010 this Friday/Saturday/Sunday at Silverstone so if anyone is in the area and wants to come and see close up a race team in action you are welcome to pop in. We are in the end garage next to the scrutineering bay.

This weekend it is the Formula Ford, Walter Hayes Trophy weekend and we are running Joey Foster in our G50 in the BRDC Members "all Comers Race" which supports the FFord event.

Joey is a three times winner of the coveted Walter Hayes Trophy (the BRDC have actually given him the original and had a replica made), a former McLaren Autosport Award finalist, has raced at Le Mans for Embassy Racing and is the 2009 Australian F3 Champion so we are really looking forward to working with him.

We have three Practice session on Friday, a quiet day Saturday and then quali (9.00am) and races (11.10am and 14.55pm) on Sunday.

Regards,

Robin

Today Joey was only out in the Formula Ford and despite the fact he is driving a 32 year old car against modern, including current machinery he put it on pole this morning! He had a gear linkage problem in the race and finished 5th but that puts him through to the Semi Final of the WHT.

So all bodes well for his first quali and races in the Ginetta tomorrow, will let you know how it goes....

We had a decent day on Sunday. Joey qualified 7th out of 27 cars. Finished Race 1 in sixth which was a Class Win and first of the non sports prototypes home. Second race we finished 9th which was second in class and to be fair to Joey we running tyres which we first used back in March for the British GT media day so they were pretty goosed!

Regards,

Robin
