Nice new badge kindly fitted courtesy of the Maserati warranty (for the 2nd time as the red inserts keep falling out!) BUT………… it’s 3mm lower on the left!!!! It looks way worse in the flesh too.

Do I go back and make a fuss or do I suck it up and just look at it when I have to make the decision to go independent or main dealer for the 3rd service next year???!!

Mark.

Is is actually installed properly? It has two pins that should, technically speaking, be secured from behind but that requires serious labour to get into the dash and do it properly. Try pulling at it and see if it comes out easily. If it does, you can gently bend it to suit so it looks how you want. The metal is super soft.

Thanks guys, I’ll have another look tomorrow but from what I remember the stitching was perfectly level and the carbon trim rises from left to right.
You would like to think the main dealer would have installed it correctly and not just glued it on but we’ll see!

Thanks, that’s pretty conclusive!!
Just found the photo of the old damaged one and that’s level with the stitching, as are all the photos on Google images.

It’s like a picture that’s not hanging straight, a tiny thing but really irritating!

Hopefully this helps
It does, thanks! Clearly parallel with the stitching.
Customer Services just left a voicemail asking if everything was satisfactory…… I’m going to feel petty complaining but it’s like the wonky picture or wall socket that just has to be corrected!

I am not sure how they could get it wrong as the badge has pins that would align with the holes in the dash.
I dont think it’s petty at all and you are perfectly entitled to complain

They have just got my email with MarkMas’ picture and others so I don’t see there can be any push back BUT to Outrun’s point….. did they just use glue and get it wrong!!??

It does look as if it should be lining up with the stitching. Not with the carbon or somewhere in the middle.

Seven weeks to go until my daughter's Wedding in Somerset and I find out that my red passport issued on 26/3/12 and expires 26/8/22 actually ain't valid after 21/09/21 according to the Gov UK website.
Mad panic now renewing online.
Let's see how quickly my Sovereign blue one arrives.

Why is that?
Mine expires a month later than yours.

I understand stand that and my passport states that it expires on the 26/08/22 but the UK Gov passport checker states 26/09/21
Very confusing.

Weird. The website says 6 months and the checker says 11 months.

Meanwhile the French website says 3 months.

But all of this is 'time before your envisaged departure date'. Maybe if you are a French resident on a UK passport they assume you are staying 11 months..

It's whole 'Passport must be valid for 6 months after your date of travel'

Which makes no fscking sense to me at all, but it's not exactly news

Jesus, what is it about some dog owners !!

Brixham sea front is like a mine field of dog mess, often smeared across the pavements by unlucky pedestrians.

A walk along the rocks at Berry Head and i to the nature reserve and you see little dog mess bags (full) dis guarded in the bushes.

The when you sit outside at a pavement cafe people feel it’s acceptable to let their dogs come right up to you sniffing and licking.

I sound like a right moaning old sod, but it’s beyond a joke.

Rant over…… for now

But if the dog that I can hear yapping in the room a few doors down the corridor keeps me awake, I will be back !

Lesson learnt there Scaf, don’t sit outside a cafe with yer noob out! On a serious note Peale who pick up dog sh1t in a plastic bag and leave it behind beggars belief.
