Ladies and gentleman, as some of you know my 18 year old son Ryan has been battling cancer for the last 2years and it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that he passed away in his sleep at 10.10am this morning. Me and my wife, Sue, were at his bedside. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for helping to make his last 2 years as good as they could possibly have been. I know he regarded you all as good friends and he was never happier than when tearing around in the company of other Maseratis. I may go a little quiet for a while but when I get my focus back I will, hopefully, be back to normal. Thanks again for your support and friendship. Regards.

I only met Ryan once, he was indeed a lovely boy.

Words are never enough at such a difficult time. From your posts it seems like you had a very special relationship with Ryan and he must have had a fine time enjoying so many glorious cars with you. When your pain and grieving start to ease I'm sure you will be left with many special memories.
