Ian,

So very sorry to hear of Ryan passing away. He was indeed a total petrol head through and through and therefore a joy to be around. It was my privilege to have taken him out in the GTS on a couple occasions and to have been on the various runs and meets with you both.

To echo the sentiments above, if I can help in anyway please don't hesitate to call.

I will certainly be raising a glass to the very special young man this evening.

I can't find the right words to describe how sorry I am for you and your family. I am sure all fathers will have an inkling of how difficult this must be for you. I know from reading your posts that you arranged some very special events for Ryan. I hope those wonderful memories will provide some comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

Our thoughts and best wishes are with you.

My thoughts are with everyone else's, on you and your family.

My son, Jake is ten months old and I cannot imagine what you must have been through and are going through now. I know that part of me buying a Maserati, and especially a Spyder is the thought that one day he will get as much pleasure out of it as I will get showing it off to him. Something us boys can do together, and mum doesn't even have a seat. I'm glad you had the chance to do just that. If you ever hold a charity event in Ryan's name, I'm sure you will have great support from this forum.
Chris.

Welcome back guys, still in a very somber mood.

Please take a minute to consider making a donation to the family and for flowers, to which you will be credited.

Ian, I can't begin to express how sad I am and have been since hearing this devastating news. You and your family are very much in my thoughts. I can only hope it comes as some small comfort that Ryan was the finest of young men and was held in high regard by those that had the pleasure of spending time in his company. I certainly count myself in that number. You have my sincere condolences.

Miles.

Ian, start your engine and make your boxes scream until heaven. Your Ryan will surely hear them. Haven't heard about your son's trouble, so i was schocked when i read these lines.

It's the worst thing in the world someone can be faced with, so be strong.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

Ian,

Like Nikos I was unaware of your son's condition. Still, I'd like to offer my condolences and deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Somewhere, at the point where the rings of time come in contact, you will meet again.

Thanks guys, your kind and touching words of support are very comforting. I am sat here reading this thread with tears in my eyes and I know Ryan would have been surprised to learn of the esteem in which he is obviously held by those who have met him. I will leave it there as I am lost for words and more than a little emotional. I hope to see you all again in the very near future. Thanks again guys, your heartwarming support means a great deal to us.

Ian,

What can I say? I never met Ryan, but the discussion we had some time ago and the threads you have posted regarding your exploits, I felt that I knew him. It is tragic and I feel so deeply for you and your family at this heart ripping time. You gave Ryan the most immense gift any father could give, absolute sheer enjoyment day after day, those memories will never fade for you and Ryan has taken them with him.
My deepest condolences.

Robert
