Have to try and persuade her to go and see it with me. People who have seen it already say it's a stunning piece of work...

All the footage is Archive Lewis very retro, great interviews and the drivers pre race meetings give you a great insight into how things ran in the 80's & 90's.

My Mate was at the preview in London 4 weeks ago.

He thought it was great.
One of his other mates is a motor journo who couldn't go so he went with his mate's press pass and ticket for the gig.

Did a bit of a Rory Bremner for the night by all accounts!

There can't be a petrol head in the country who doesn't want to see it. I remember the day he died so so clearly as it was one of the few Grand Prix that I didn't watch. I was outside working on the car when my wife came out and told me what had happened. I was a Prost supporter in those days but always had utmost respect for the gifted and stunning way in which he drove. A complete professional and true legend and count myself lucky to have been able to see him race.

Spookily similar story myself Ronnie,

I never used to miss an F1 if I could help it in those days but I can remember we were off on continental holiday during the next week and Igot carried away with a 4 corner swap of the wheels on my car and forgot it had started... It was the guy next door who told me - quite chilling I recall!!!

A bad weekend for motorsport indeed...

Must see this - I remember nearly all the bits shown in the trailer, never missed an F1 race, we used to video them,(how long ago was that!) then watch the highligts on Sunday night as well! - the wheel to wheel with Mansell is my favourite

Lets not forget Roland Ratzenburger who was killed the day before Senna. It was also bad luck that killed Senna; he survived the main impact but was killed by the front suspension arm that went through his visor. Still, if you can't take a joke, don't race cars!

No, agree Benny.

I always find it funny when Prost is being interviewed and he says "Ayrton does not believe he can kill himself" that was so true.
