Nothing concrete yet Frank, had a definite buyer who pulled out at the 11th hour due to it having 6 previous owners, he hadn't asked previously. Guess it bothers some people, but it has a FSH so that's all I need to see.

Spoke to a chap tonight from Ireland who fancies it, but he'd have to move fast as time is running out. He and I will speak again in the morning, he already has a 6-cyl DB7 coupe and wants to move up. If not him, then pretty soon a dealer is going to get a nice car very cheaply.

Whatever happens I will get the DB9 anyway so that's good to know!

Has he said to you what the VRT rate he will have to pay when he brings it into Ireland yet ( assuming form the South)?

These type of cars change hands all most yearly so never understood people being pu toff by number of owners. Condition and history is far more important.

It's black on black, lovely car and really mean looking. He tried to sell it about 18 months ago to no avail, so has kept it and hardly ever drives it. Depreciation is not a thing this guy thinks or worries about. He makes far more income than he loses on any toys, nice position to be in!

Picked up Martin (from Emblem) in the 911 today, roof off, looking a bit... camp... and went to get the 4200.

Turned the battery disconnect switch, turned the key, straight into life. And all 8 cyclinders too, the Marcos (which needed to be moved) can't have fired more than 6! It looked very weird watching it drive away... forgotten how wide it looks from the back!

Yeah i do love those rear wings from behind ,looking in the side mirror whilst driving the wing curves reminds of a nice pair of child bearing hips , awfully sexual in a sad kind of way , one of the reasons i think ive kept them for so long

Yes Dem...your are right now you mention it...The 3200 does look like it has a bigger bum than a 4200...It hasn't so must be the lights that give it that impression....Lovely rear

Indeed. And the Khan's, with their perfect 4200 offsets add to the whole stance!

Gear linkage done and Myles reports it's driving beautifully. MOT in the morning (no problems anticipated), wheels refurbed in 2hrs on Friday morning and Dicky might have his new car that night! If that's the case, I think I will abandon the Aston sale, cut my losses and get my new P&J. Then straight to Paramount in Slough for a re-map and exhaust... 515bhp+ anyone?

Enzo - Chiltern green with moonshadow and a Parliament roof. So basically sage green, with a beige interior and a dark green roof! Think it's a he. The Porsche can be a girl ;)

Saw a dark blue one with a dark blue roof last Thursday,
going into the baynard car park near blackfriars station...
