Silverstone Classic 2012

Anyone going, this is my favorite event if the year, I will be taking my car with the Maserati Club.

I'm hoping to be there. The SuperCarDrivers are doing a display at Oulton Park on Saturday and then driving down and staying in the Silverstone area ready for Sunday. I will, hopefully, be driving down with Marios (from Autoshield) on Sunday so we may well see you there. Here's hoping for good weather.

I shall be there all three days as usual. However, I won't be there in my 4200. I always take my Hawk Stratos to this event. It's the Stratos Enthusiasts Club's annual get together.

Silverstone classic is better than the Goodwood Revival and dare I say it Le Mans Classic in terms of the racing on display.

I agree Nick, access everywhere even in the pit garages with the drivers, every grandstand is free looking forward to it, just need some sun

That is such a good idea - signature above the bonnet badge across the white stripe in the colour of the pale grey narrow stripe so it's subtle. Get a clear film cut before hand so you can protect it straight after signing.

Heads up for the Sunday parade of F40s. They'll be on the track at the front of the parade @ 12:10. Me and my Hawk are on the parade too! Suitably and respectfully at the back. I knows me place!

I'll be there on the Sunday. Maserati have booked me in to drive the new Sport at 1010am. have we got a meeting point organised?

I'll be with the SupercarDrivers. You might be able to hear us arrive if you are there at 9am. I'll try and get to the Maserati stand for 0945 and meet you there. Wear a red carnation! I'll be wearing a short olive green Timberland jacket and, probably, a wide brimmed Aussie hat. It looks like its going to be a busy weekend.

Ah, damnit, I thought it was the FOC when they were doing the F40 thing. Is the the kind of event you can just turn up to and pay on arrival? If so, that might be the go on Sunday is MrsWoody is keen.
