Rickenbacker 360/12WB - 1992 - best quality guitar I own - FireGlo
Fender Electric XII - bitzer, paint crazed like mad - Candy Apple Red
Epiphone Dot - ie ES335, Black, son nicked it
Shergold Marathon 6-string Bass, 1980, serial 7016, 16th out of 95 - Cheery Red, paint dented and wrecked (Obechi body, very soft wood), best neck ever
Shergold Masquerader, 1977, Cherry Red too, same dinged body and paint
Gretsch Electomatic - dunno year, Black, nice feedback-y sound, really wails...
Fender Acoustic
Yammy 12-string acoustic
Jasmine small body acoustic - daughter nicked it
Fender Jaguar, Sea Foam, bought on a whim, same daughter Nicked it.
NoName 5-string bass, load of ****, again, bought on whim with a farty Zoom amp (amp gone missing)
Soviet 7-string acoustic (semistrunka) - need to restring that, has four steel and 3 nylon stings, not sure how it should be strung, tuned to open chords usually....

Of these I only really play the two Shergolds!, the Fender Electric XII if I want jingle-jangle, Rick neck too narrow at nut for me but it just oozes quality....

No guitars. Impressed by the collections, though.

I have a violin....

C
I've got a violin (my other daughter left it when she moved out) - incidentally Russian for 'Violin' is 'Skripka' which sums up how she made it sound...

Half share in a Piano Accordion, a Victorian Banjo, and a practice set of Uilleann Pipes (me and my bro).

I was quite competent on the violin but that was many years back. I like Uilleann Pipes. Kate Bush used them on The Hounds Of Love.

Uilleann Pipes are well hard, even the practice set which is just a bag, bellows and chanter. Halt set adds drones, and full set adds regulators - sort of chord chanters u play with you're forearm. You need to be contortionist...

We were so poor I didn't have any clothes until I was nine. Then my Dad bought me a cap so I could look out of the window....

Apologies for that one - any excuse and I roll it out - credit: Eric Sykes....

We have indeed done this, but no harm going over again :) No guitars here, but lots of drums. 1958 green sparkle Slingerland, 1961 Capri Pearl Slingerland, 7 various capri matching snares, and a 2009 DW Arctic Oyster Collectors. We must get a jam sorted out one day.

Bagpipes. I want bagpipes. Have a Rickenbacker, a Stratocaster, an ac30. And a Yamaha acoustic that is made of hardwood that is the most responsive guitar I have ever played. And a son who plays everything better than I ever could.

I had a Roland Guitar Synth, Strat copy, two pedal boxes, blue one for poly-synth, yellow for chorus/flange etc. Wish I'd kept it..

I want a Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion 3 - but I don't like the lower horn, too abrupt, not curvy enough...

Sorry for the repeat, but I did do a search and couldn't find one.
Bagpipes. I want bagpipes.
I listed my guitars, but I am a very poor musician. I had to go with an instrument that I could suck at, but no one would know. I chose the Bagpipes. Mrs. Oishi says it sounds like I'm trying to wax the cat. Have a nice set of Kintail pipes. What a waste of fine pipes.
