Echo all the sentiments here - well done to all the worthy winners,and great see those that made the meet(s) this year. Here's to 2011, the very best of forums, and our beloved Maseratis!!!

And from Down Under!! well done to all of you for providing not only excellent entertainment and technical" know How" but for providing a wealth of all things Maserati ... to go along with it. Remember there are people like me all round the world reading this site, some are never more than 'guests" but they all learn a thing or two about good comradery at SM. I also like to think its what being a maserati driver is all about. Not showing off your car, but equally allowed to be proud of your pride and joy. sharing it with like minded people when encouraged.

With that in mind, Santa Claus has already been in my Gs this year somewhat intoxicated but only in the passenger seat while steaming along at 200Kph.. :as004: after we delivered all the presents to the young kids in our street.

Just want to add my congratulations to all of the award winners, we are all winners every time we are lucky enough to pick up that trident key and fire up the beast.... (not just because it started!)

Just wanted to let the award recipients know that I now have pretty much all the awards together, apart from some that Matt has that can be handed out when we next get together. I'll be PMing you over the coming days to get your addresses so I can post them to you.

It would be great if you can post pictures once you receive them as I'm sure other members would like to see the worthy recipients with their awards?

Am sure my society portrait photographer can step up to the mark Miles................though he does take umbrage when I turn up wearing a brown paper bag..........;)

Soz guys,

Was ill over Xmas with the flu (the real kind and not just Man flu) so missed all of this thread. I have to echo all the sentiments and can say I get a great laugh out of the exchange of posts with some of the members being very witty writers. Just look at the recent posts on this thread, lol.
I humbly thank you all for the award, and like you I too cannot wait to get my car back.

Congrats to everybody.

Few of us are brave enough to take on a hefty restoration project of an Italian exotic Bal.

It takes guts, patience, foresight, great planning.........even more patience ..................and a decent sized bank account.....:)

Bal, I'm more than happy to echo the sentiments of the posts above. I hope the receipt of the award goes some small way towards showing you there are many members in admiration of your efforts and perseverance.
