Eh no Adam , they were never considered sexy or handsome , they were nick named the land crab for obvious reasons handling wise, i had the 3 litre princess after my MGB GT big mistake , went onto MGC now that went and handled better but the brakes were shiite and under performed

i was joking loz, every time i see one i cant stop laughing and you had a princess, loz i have wet myself, :D:D

At a time when i was frustrated at not being able to take more than one mate in the car when going out in the evenings, as i said big mistake , was offered what seemed a good swap , the princess was only a year old and a low miler (still a heap of Cr@p) as i found out , to be honest that was my one and only mistake , guilty as charged im afraid

My dad is probably the reason I am a petrol head, he owned a Healey Silverstone which he raced at weekend all over the country and dragged me along with him. He set up a company in the 80s doing what he loved, restoring classic British cars so I got to play around in all kind of nice cars as a kid. His only regret was selling an XK140 for a couple of hundred quid in the 60s, however he only paid £50 for it so it wasn't all bad!
