Morning All,
Thought I would get in early, as I have been missing for a while, due to a virus in my network software "VProtector", it's a right pain..!! So I have bought a new high speed wireless board for a different PC and will feed the network from that, seems to be working OK at the moment..!!
No idea what has been happening if anything, but I will catch up.
Cheers

Morning all, a full day of nonsense meetings ahead (pre-stage-gate review by our QA chap, and a Test&Commissioning Strategy review for 2015), then it's off to LHR T1 and a flight to Geneva this evening, ready to sign all the papers and get the keys tomorrow morning for our new place out there :)

Morning all.

Rob how are you finding the GS? I know like me you have had 3200/4200/GS, do you find the GS head and shoulders above the other 2?

Sorry to hear that, Andy :)
I seem to have a packed schedule of Yuletide entertaining lined up from next week. Nearly all of it paid for by other people, which is super :)
Drew, very best of luck, sir!

Morning, all. Swimming with the nipper then time to send a bunch of documents across to a client that explain how their expensive consulting firm has basically been charging them silly money for copy & pasting boiler-plate gibberish and meaningless pie charts into a 400-page report that's not worth the air it displaces. "Executive Summary" = "you've been scr3wed". Then I'll sit back and await the call on Monday when the message sinks in - people never like bad news, so expecting them to shoot the messenger, but hoping that they remember they can trust me.

Thanks Old Bean! Hoping this lot don't send an email today, pulling out days before signing like the last lot did.

Morning All,
It's a balmy 9 degC here today, but a cold wind and drizzle make it feel a lot colder..!! Was going to work in new garage on wiring it, but might just work inside today..!!
Matt,
Re your earlier question in the thread. Having owned and driven all 3, I find the following:
The 3200 I can only judge on the performance of the AC we own, which I still find a brilliant drive, not much to touch it in the twisty high speed road chase, it just sticks and goes like stink. It's comfortable and everything works as it should.
The 4200CC Facelift again was excellent and very quick but a little more stable, this could be down to a variety of factors, chassi I assume. Very comfortable car with creature comforts everywhere. The 42 always feels great to drive and well planted, not as good as the AC on really fast twisty roads, but almost, other roads I think it is better than the 3200, but only slightly.
The GranSport is a step up from both the above, although I have not really caned it yet due to damp roads. It feels to sit very well on the road and in these damp conditions I have had the tail out, but I think that was due to the tyres being a bit underpressure, which is now sorted. The car is comfortable, but I miss the full screen SatNav I had in the 42, this SatNav is on a standard radio display (Becker). I am still getting used to loads of stuff on the car, including the Larini's, but I have to admit I like it so far, very much. The acceleration is terrific, could be due to the extra 40hp this car has, but can get lots of wheel spin without proper care. Everything about this car is good, but I don't want to praise it too much (you understand that), until I have been able to drive it a bit more under normal conditions.

So my summary would be: All very good in their own way, but the GS is just that bit better overall..!!

Cheers
