Sorry to hear that and condolences to you and your family.

I do think that we forget as we get older so do the generations above us and I think this is the first phase, burying our folks, aunts uncles etc. the next phase is when you start burying your friends.

More cr@p news Ian, condolences there mate. I literally just got in from hanging the shutter in the garden, it is vast! I broke the hand crank on it so ended up having to Gerry-rig a controller out of a double light switch! Help from the kids got us there in the end. 30 year old hedgerow grubbed our to make room and a temporary infill to the side of the garage which fell on my noggin giving me a Nast gash to contend with. Thankfully I have Jeanette to patch me up! Came in to a very late dinner and when I went back out to move the cars around for tomorrow I found another fire had just been lit at the end of the ally!!! Exactly the same time as the last two times and in the same place... police involved again.

Morning,

Sorry to hear your news Benny. Had a run of funerals last year and it feels ****.

Great drive out yesterday but back to reality and the office today. Nothing more really.

Have a good one all

Good morning everyone, 4 day week, but it's going to be a busy one. Lads had a big fault over the bank holiday so I'll go in early to help mop up the aftermath.

Newton, have you not heard of self preservation?

Morning all, couldn’t sleep as I was too wired and aching. I cannot give it any time today and I’m up north the rest of the week. Two schools to inspect near Euston Station this afternoon then GQS forca meeting this evening.

Have fun all...

Morning folks!
These mountain roads are great fun! I can even enjoy them in the Clio hire car. I got quite the look from the postman with whom I really held pace... I thought he'd probably know the roads better than most people. I just had to be careful not to fry the brakes as the rears are drums.
I guess I should enjoy the scenery again.
HapPea Tuesday!

Morning all. Office bound today. First panic of the day. Thought I'd lost my phone.
Fell out of my pocket in the car.

And of course I took the Maser to work. Be rude not to on a day like today.

Fockety balls, Newton. That's crappy. The fire as well as your re-modelled noggin.

In-keeping with SM habit today, I also came to work by car. Woke the youngest up when I left at 5.15, but had left it just too late to sneak into town before the congestion charge kicked in. Still, nice run in other than getting through the East End, and the car's now safely tucked up in an over-priced car park until Thursday.

Have so far had one call, booked some flights to Hong Kong for a couple of weeks time and been staggered at the immensity of emails which have landed with me. select-all // delete is sooo tempting!

Morning.

No day off today, that’s tomorrow for Ace.

Work and testing code this morning then invoicing and cooking the books this afternoon.

Oh the glamour of it all!

On a positive note, since fitting the new battery in the Strad I’ve had no Park Off or gear unavailable issues. She’s done a hundred and fifty miles so far and been used everyday for a week, pinkies crossed.

Morning,

In the office again, even going to be there on Friday this week! Getting closer to sorting the issue with the Spider's roof, but no joy yet. Debating changing my car. Probably won't but I'm going to cost up what needs doing in the next year or so and see if there is a better option. Very tempted with a GC even though its slower and less practical.

Have a great day all
