The good morning thread

Hello everybody!
I like sunny days like this. I'm pleased to report that a bit of degreasing on the brake discs and pads have returned my cycle's ability to stop quickly. Hoping for an interesting - in a good way - afternoon in the office today with a new combination of team so I can finally be let loose on a new project I'm taking on. More importantly, hoping that I'll get time off confirmed to be MLC's passenger for lemons.

Have a good whatever day of the week it is.
HapPea Tuesday! x

Morning all. As it's nice today I brought the Maser to work.
Need to go set up my stand at some point for 'Kent Vision Live' tomorrow.
Normally I don't bother with exhibitions but as I have a load of leaflets etc from one I did last year (which cost me nothing) I figured I'd try and make use of what didn't get taken.
This one has cost only a few hundred quid so I thought why not. Even though I find them tedious!

On a positive note we're now under 4 weeks until Le Mans!!!!!!

My £40 bit of plastic covering my headlamp waters has been painted.
Hopefully it will be pretty close to what is currently on the car (I doubt it will be exact), but will be far better than the gaping hole that is currently there.

So all set for Le Mans. Why is it taking so long to come around?

Look forward to seeing them!

It’s all on WhatsApp now.

Morning all. It’s Wednesday so it’s my day off. A bit of Brera work (oh when will it ever end) then have to take our youngest up to Horsham for dental pre op assessment.

Have a good one.

Morning,
Grey and wet, who cares, I’m off to Cyprus...
Up at 06.30 on my first day on holiday, well, 45 minute lie in,
A weeks rest to prepare for 5 months of toil I fear is not enough,
Have a good day,
Dave

Morning all, spent my evening yesterday vandalising a brand new Makita belt sander as I’m converting it into a tube sander/polisher for a job next week. This invoked cutting up the main aluminium body, filling parts with liquid metal, figuring how to mount New arms and making the first from an old KTM rear sprocket! Going very well so far.

Off to Faversham and Canterbury today.

Have fun all...

Morning,

Early start in the office this morning. Spider seems to have bitten the chap fitting the steering rack as he's ricked his back removing it. Hopefully should have it back later, shame the weather has taken a turn for the worse today. Still, its meant to be better for my weekend starting on Thursday evening.

Have a great day all

Yep a change in the weather.
I think the forecasters have been spot on for the last year or so, has there been a step change with them?

Off to get a pie for lunch

The BBC did change the source of their weather information from the Met Office to somewhere else...

What?
The BBC do not use the Met Office anymore?

Nope. They now use a service from MeteoGroup.

I now use three apps on the phone for weather; the one that came with it, the BBC, or the Met Office. Trust depends on where in the world I am. In the UK then its a toss up between the BBC and MetOffice, though I'd edge towards the latter. Outside the UK and Northern France/Belgium/Netherlands the BBC one is less use than looking out of the window and making it up.
