Morning all looks like the sun has finally arrived here but I have the joys of talking to HMRC - I suspect that might take most of the week to get through

Morning,
Bit fuzzy here this morning, my head that is, it’s beautiful outside.
Decided to have a night cap and surfed the telly box and found The Deer Hunter on....the rest is a bit messy...
Couple of emails to work this morning and I’m done.
1st working day in isolation.
Wife started with a cough yesterday so let’s see how that pans out..
Stay safe.
Dave

Morning all, today I shall mostly be building play equipment in the form of a swing & slide for the little one, Easter treat from the grandparents.....note they didn’t offer to build it too, still the sun is shining & I'm getting bored of Wheeler Dealers

Thus far in lockdown I've built a slide, a trampoline and a swing. I feel your pain....

Morning all. same sh*t different day. What day is it anyway???

My day today entails having a moan at a bloke who is making me money. Not sure how to approach this one......
Might have a bike ride (on Zwift as it's a bit blowy out there) to think about it.

Hello everyone!
Yesterday I had some friends return some power tools I'd lent them for quite a long time. This week could get fun on occasion as a result (chainsaw, mitre saw, hedge trimmer).
I need to check through my volunteers' progress. My old lady, who I'll call "B" had me in hysterics on the phone once more yesterday afternoon - I don't know which of us is doing the other more good with these calls to check up on her in isolation! We've now agreed that when we can finally meet in person that she'll have me over for a cuppa, take one look at me and shout "Get out, you half-cast!"
Then it'll be afternoon tea across the front gardens - Matt, not far off your suggestion. The ones I've been doing this with when the weather is good are all the oldies who bought the houses for £2,400 when they were new in ~1960. I'm the age of some of their grandchilren.
Hmmm, I think I'll go and play my piano for a bit too.

HapPea Monday!

Morning all, lovely sunrise this morning looks like we are in for another lovely day. Even better we got our disability exception letter yesterday which means we can take are disabled boy to the beach which really chills him out, gets him some fresh air and exercise and leads to a less stressful life.

Indeed. I've put it off until today and then will slip it into a conversation we have to have about another project, so it's less like a telling off.

The patio cleaner attachment is a bit **** to be honest. I bought one and used it once!

Just use the jet now. Takes longer but does the job far better!
