Those of you that know me will understand the stupid long legs and short back with a pasta gut that I'm trying to get fit! This puts rather special requirements in place when trying to find a kayak I can fit into. compound that with trying to find a river/white water boat and there are traditionally well none available! Wave Sport have seemingly worked pure magic with this new model and yesterday I visited Kent Canoes and we fitted out their demonstrator and well I can get safely in and out! The next problem is that there is a massive shortage globally of kayaks as everyone seems to be looking for a hobby in lockdown/post lockdown. This results in a 9 month to year long waiting list. So imagine my surprise when I found on left in stock today in Manchester, confirmed on the phone and I have just bought it!

A very good Saturday morning to you all. Taking my youngest to football first thing...Hope the rain stays off....Then not sure what we shall be doing....Qualifying in Monaco so will probably settle down to that later. Did get shed yesterday but that can wait to put up until the sun comes out.

Morning all, two disasters to attend to this weekend, the first is that one of the walls in the newly decorated living room has decided that it didn’t like the plaster attached to it and has completely blown! Then the cooker had an electrical fire and half of it is no longer working! So I have to mask the floor and half the living room with DPM and temporary flooring and liberate the cooker from its space as a newer one is arriving at 5 o’clock.

A bit of good news is that Alex football cancelled as the opposite team have 4 players that have to self isolate as someone in there class has tested positive.
Well when I say good news I don’t mean the COVID bit just that there is no football.

Morning folks!
Slept badly thanks to trying to recover from an assault on my way home on my bike last night. Not hurt physically.
Reported it to the police and a sergeant will be calling me later and addressing the plain clothes offending officer who revealed the back of his ID after trying to pull me off my cycle.
Soon to take my godson out this morning on our first adventure as just the two of us.
