Good Morning all.
My 87 year old mother now into her 3rd day in Weston super Mare hospital in A&E as no beds available on the wards which tells me the NHS is under pressure.
Her husband not allowed to go and see her so making the situation for both of them unpleasant.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all,

Long weekend starts today with a stay in the Northumberland/Borders area. Looks like it could be sunny and not too cold so perfect for some roof down driving.

Good morning everyone, sorry to hear about your mum Phil. The NHS is ALWAYS under pressure. No matter how much money is thrown at it. It's a government organisation after all. Prone to waste and abuse.

Morning all, more of the same

Afternoon, all. Today I start my first of three days plugged into a datalogger to investigate my misfire. Wandering around with a load of wires hanging out of my shirt, my wife helpfully commented 'for ****'s sake don't wear a rucksack'.

Other than that, a normal kind of a day of calls and stuff.

Are you implying you have a heart?

I thought that was replaced once you moved from Maserati to Aston Martin ;)

So sorry to read this Phil, my daughter reminds me daily of the pressures felt by the NHS and the Covid legacy of delays and plying catch up will go on for years.
The no visitor rule is particularly cruel and I don’t think is being lifted like it is in nursing homes.
Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery

Sorry to read that, Phil. I hope she's comfortable. Well, as comfortable as anyone ever is in a hospital.

Morning, all. Bad night's sleep due to the spaghetti of wires stuck to my torso. Let's hope they're eavesdropping on some quality intel. Not many meetings today, which gives me time to catch up on Stuff.

A wise observation! Although I've noticed that since that time I now rev far more freely and fast to max rpm, but am occasionally prone to a lumpy tickover, almost to the point of stalling. I suspect what I have now is a finely-tuned sports heart which is in need of a remap. And possibly some freer breathing manifolds. And maybe a flush through to clear out the carbon buildup. Should I chug back some Redex?

Cheers all for your kind thoughts.
Sadly this is now the third time admitted by ambulance in as many months and surprisingly she has not yet had Covid.
It's ******* her and her husband as they rely on each other so much.

Morning all. Hope your mother gets on the mend soon @philw696

This afternoon involves loads TEAMS calls (all good as far as I'm concerned) and this morning is loads more positive stuff.
Yesterday was a good day, and hopefully today will be just as good.

Day off so it's day to have a go on wife's cayenne turbo, local porsche specialist doesn't like chasing elec probs on them as very time consuming against value of rhe car. Porsche in their wisdom twists wires together and covers with tape from new ....
Water leaks from sunroof/bulkhead result in elec problems
