A very good morning to all…

Its Alex’s 13th birthday today and I am very excited as his present is 5 lessons at the go cart school over at Castle Coomb. Once they feel he is competent enough he then gets to race in their championship.

Also pondering jobs. Not a situation I've ever been in to be able to chose between offers.

Morning all. Early start this morning courtesy of two little ‘uns with colds.

All ready for a day on the lash with a couple of mates from Essex as we watch Dover vs Southend and then head to Canterbury this evening.

Haven’t seen them for 2 1/2 years because of Covid and what not so it will be a very messy one that is for sure!

Excellent but beware the slippy slope, my mate ran his son in Karts and he was pretty good National Bambino Champion at 7 or 8, the next step up cadets he was 2nd in the championship against kids 2 or 3 years older. But here's the catch to run a competitive Bambino season was about £20k, the Cadet season was £50k. Despite a lot of interest from the Kart suppliers he just couldn't get any sponsorship so had to give it up

Yep, it’s big bucks if you manage to get to the top of your game.

We have a chap in our planning team that drives for Team Brit which is the team for drivers with disabilities. I am trying get him some sponsorship from DHL as he has to bring 50K with him just to drive. He has raised 25k so far so halfway there. The goal of the team is to get to Le Mans by 2024 and seem to be in track for that. Inspirational team.
