Morning all. Long day consisting of essentially two meetings, one of which will run most of the day and the other one starting at 6 and going until...who can say? Guessing I will be home around nine or nine-thirty...
What's more bother: the animals and the weather, or work? I suspect I can guess. Good luck!

...45 minutes answering questions. Guess this should be in the good evening thread, except it's 11:30p here and I just got done eating for the first time today...

Morning you Love birds :)
Wow so pleased with the kitchen and being down there this morning fire lit in the stove and brand new espresso machine fired up.
Ms French working from home today and I'll continue with my jobs on the house.
Enjoy your Hump Day everyone :)

Morning all and boy yesterday was eventful.
The kitchen fitter was pîssed off the moment he got here as he was expecting everything to be in the house and he couldn't get it into the house on his own.
Don't worry princess I'll get it in on my own in no time on my own which is what I did and I'm 35 years his senior.
Now would you like anything from the Boulangerie as that's where I'm going now ?
Honestly you can't make it up.
Hopefully he'll have a good day.
That's why I built my kitchen myself too. It might have taken longer but I know it's right.

Good morning everyone. Wednesday and another set of leave followed by a trip to Manchester... finally!

And my house is back on the market...

Fun morning.

MrsMM destroyed a tyre in Bristol at 10 last night. Called me. I called the RAC. Initially they said they would be there around 11pm. By midnight they were saying that they could not predict a recovery time. I went to pick her up. At 1am the RAC said dump the car and then go back to wait between 8 and noon. They told us, when you are there we will give a specific time.

At car at 9. RAC said they could not offer a time, and we should just wait for a text 'sometime today'.

Escalated to 'breakdown complaints' and they cancelled the original call (which had, apparently, been reset to tomorrow) and initiated a new one. ETA 11-12.

New ETA is 12-1.

Grrrr....

Morning all and perhaps everyone should boycott all Bristols. The one here is really weird; it's in two states. Hard to track which laws I am breaking and when.

Long night, hopefully a shorter day today...happy V-Day; try not to make it VD Day.
