Morning, all. WFH so alternating head down and concentrating with Wimbledon throughout the day.

Newton, glad to hear you're going to be Maserati'd up again, every faith you'll make the best decision and can't wait to see the result. You're over my neck of the woods, ping me if you get time for a coffee later!

Cheers Chris, I'm doing an inspection at Channing School up on the hill from Waterlow Pk, I shouldn't be there terribly long but if I can find a spot to park on the road I'll shout for sure. I'll PM you my mobile No.

My eldest is a finalist (one of four) in the National Insurance Industry Awards tonight in the Young Achiever's category; she completed the insurance degree in the quickest ever time and with the highest ever marks! A very good chance she will walk away with the prize but just being there is a massive achievement in itself. Night in a Posh Hotel in Kensington for her and hubby and a seat at a £15k table just for starters!

Think she looks fabulous...

I assume the other courses are free... :D

Holding on for the results late evening but a proud dad anyway. She has always been an achiever, won a scholarship at Christ's Hospital School, First in BSc at uni then onto UCL with a Distinction at MSc in Forensic Archaeology, Went into insurance (Forensics) with Endsleigh and got head hunted by Zurich on a Post-Grad scheme, Did the 2-year Institute of Insurance degree in under 7-months! and is looking good to being made a Fellow later this year in all probability!

It is a race between Jeanette and her as to which gets the Dr in front of their name first!

Cheers all, just got a message, she didn't win but just being there has got her profile up with the top bosses of Zurich & can only do her good.

Working frantically on a possible car at the moment, hopefully sorted the last insurance payments today so when they are all in I can push the relevant buttons. A lot of help from peps on here which I am thankful for.

Morning all. Off to the office this morning. Short day, then calls to the US this afternoon.

It's all good. Sorry she didn't win Newton, but the competition must have been really *really* good.

Have a great day, all

Morning all......News on the Jaguar...There isn't any.....Jaguar has not told the dealer what they should be doing with the recall...They have said they keep chasing. By all accounts a number of cars have had water in the foot-well and until Jaguar tell them what checks to carryout I cannot have the car. The dealer sounded frustrated as they have a back log of cars to go out. They said it they had taxed the car before they had the recall I could of had it delivered but because it was due to the be taxed the nest day they aren't alloyed to give me the car until the recall has been sorted. They said it may not even effect my car but Jaguar will not take the chance....******** I say...
