I sometimes wish that I had a blue light to turn on!

Maybe that's the answer to policing the roads, reporting idiot drivers via dashcam and then they can get a fixed penalty notice through the post.

Might make some drivers think before pulling out etc!

I doubt it's any different now, but when I was working in Moscow a lot some years back, your well-connected oligarch could get a blue light to help his drivers carve through the traffic. Also, any bad driving was discouraged by the heat-packing goons that helped ensure the timely and safe arrival of the boss.

Nice one Phil.

Good morning all….

Works Christmas meal cancelled for this Thursday as the business has decided having all the General Managers Operations, HR managers, H&S managers out in one place was risk. Not because we are alcohol animals but because of Covid and they didn’t want the risk of it wiping out the whole of the South West and Wales managers before Christmas…..Shame as was looking forward to an evening out.
We have done the same thing with our teams, no Christmas Parties as the risk of wiping out a whole team is too great, I have gifted all 900 employees an extra days leave instead which went down very well.

Are you recruiting, Sam?

Have a good one, all

Yes I certainly can C…To be honest I was having second thoughts about the pub after the meal and would have probably left after the meal.

I've been in a comparatively crowded office this evening, then having a bloody good time with security 'professionals' this evening. LFT for me tomorrow I think given I will be with some of the same 'professionals' at the RAF club for lunch on Thursday.....

Good morning everyone and it's Hump Day.
A trip over to Laval for me as a few more bags of mortar have turned up for my glass blocks.
Going to be a long project this.
Stay Safe all.

Good morning all. Work, Although volume has dropped considerably from what it should have been this time of year. Pubs etc took a lot of volume in November and now people are cancelling tables left right a centre so they are full of stock. Although we never had enough drivers to deliver the Christmas volume so not all bad.

Exciting day today. Off to SportsItalia to collect the Strad, having had a service and the roll cage (that had been cluttering up my office for ages) finally fitted. And with blue collars and pads to match the roof lining, it’s another welcome dab of colour in the black beast.

And of course, adding the harnesses raises the top speed by another 10mph

Morning all, after a night of very broken sleep and having to feed Sophia at 3am, I now have Joseph in the office with me as Alex has to take her mum to hospital and he really didn't want to go.

Hopefully he will be a good boy and enable me to do some work.

Although he's currently being good, he hasn't stopped talking!!! :yeah:

Looking forward to photos of all that, please, Ewan.
