to be honest Frank, BL got what they deserved, they made **** cars, they didn't car about quality and in the end, paid the ultimate price.

Somewhere I've got a photo of a Model A kit car that I owned back in the day. That was powered by a Rover V6. I'll see if I can dig the photo out.

They did care about quality adam ............................. quality of a good cup of tea at break times .... and they had lots of those.

Saw the aftermath of a strike - cant remember if it was a Rover Plant but certainly British Leyland, my dad took me as he was working there (for a contractor) the line started up and cars red with rust having just been dipped but left standing for strike duration - straight into the paintshop!
