WHILE WE WAIT FOR THE RUSSIANS TO STOP MINCING AROUND. WHAT'S THE MOST DISGUSTING DISH YOU'VE EVER EATEN?

The French and their Andouille so called sausage ‘ranks’ up there, they seem to havre got the knack of offing it to unsuspecting British tourists.

WHS, sometime called Normandie sausage as well to catch out the unsuspecting - not a fan of offal generally but these are just the worst of the worst

Bull foot soup in the Caribbean last year. It’s got skin, tendons and cartilage from the animal’s hoof/ankle. Just big old lumps of white wobbly jelly that doesn’t resemble meat. It is probably highly nutritious, but even I couldn’t eat a whole bowl of it.
I'm counting down to a mucky response involving the toe of an ungulate.

Our more puerile members* will doubtless rise** to the challenge soon.

almost anything my mother used to make with minced beef............she could not cook to save herself and especially never believed in browning meat, so mince was just thrown raw into either boiling water or some non-descript sauce or other yeeuuuuch, still have nightmares.

I had a mother like that, with her and school dinners never understood why people raved about food until I left home

Not disgusting but certainly challenging to prepare. Spider Crabs are very popular in France but mostly ignored in the U.K.

That’s probably because they are not attractive to look and are a pain to get the meat out but legs taste great. What u see on the plate is all u get from the one I’m holding, hence bulking out with spuds and asparagus. All totally out of season for a January dinner, but sod the food miles. 9611596116

I can concur, had them in the buffet at Caesars Palace in Vegas a few years ago. Lovely.

Oysters on the other hand…

Ahh. Now there's a thing. Not good oysters (as opposed to bad oysters) are meh (bad oysters are hhhhhuuuuueeeeeyyyyy)

Good oysters, on the other hand, are genuinely one of the gifts of God. Right up there with single malt, champagne etc etc
