Window drop/lift

The passenger window on my 2002 3200 drops ok when the door is opened, and lifts when the door is closed, but doesn't quite lift far enough.....so I have to press the e/window button to get a good seal. Any ideas? Is it likely to be the microswitch, and if so - is this an easy check/replacement?

Then, yes, its either the microswitch or the upper stop blocks that need adjusting. Once you have it apart, its fairly easy to adjust by trial and error.

Tell me, does the window slop.....can you grab the glass in the up position with the door open and rock the glass fore and aft?

If so, it more likely to be the stop block guide adjustment than the microswitch.

Cheers Matt. Nope, no sloping around of the glass. I'll take the trim off and see what's what. It is lifting, just not quite far enough and needs the e/window button to do the last few mm
