So to start a sentence was taught in the 90’s and 00’s as a way of replacing Err. So is a dominant word that says ‘I want the floor’ but still buys thinking time. I can’t stand it myself.

Other dislikes are “Can you just...”

“Please hold”.

“What are you doing?”

  1. Hottest/coldest day of the year so far; often said on the news when the seasons are just started.

Like I just liked your post like actually I did.

My daughter has an English teacher that uses it so what chance do they have?!

I couldn't think of anything worse.
Need to look at this holistically.

Argh theres one more ive blocked out when my misses says it and cant think of it!
