Hi all,

Finally bit the bullet and treated myself to a GT S, nero carbonio and I LOVE it. Had the choice of several Ferrari's but in the end the GT S was just too beautiful and more of a gentlemens carriage given my advancing years.

No doubt I'll be frequenting this place quite a bit as I have no experience with such a car and will need all the advice I can get. See you around.

Yeti, welcome to the insanity that is Maserati ownership! I have to say, your new acquisition does look very nice. There are several other similarly affected chaps on the forum with the GTS and I am sure they will be along shortly FTP share they accumulated knowledge. Have fun, you've certainly picked the right car to have fun in!

Hi Yeti, nice car!
Quite stunning with the black wheels and yellow calipers.
Look forward to catching up in the future and seeing it in the metal!
Cheers,

Unlike you I hate it - every time I go in there I can't stop drooling and it embarrasses me!!!!

Actually, they are a great bunch of guys and I have a lot of fun with them.

Welcome to the mad house Yeti, like you I have just picked up my GTS, and loving it, its a wolf in hookers clothing, and that exhaust, well I don't have to tell you about that.

We seem to be getting an influx of GT's and GTS's of late, I suppose its as they drop to 3 years old and become more affordable (well, slightly)

Which part of the UK are you from? We have many meets and they are all really great days, keep an eye out in the events section. Ace Cafe London (NW10 7UD) is our spiritual home, but events take place all over the country and indeed Europe, Monte Carlo and Le Mans coming up this year so far.

Heres mine:

Sweet motor Con, but aren't those wheels a right barsteward to clean? I want to take mine off every time I wash her to get them properly cleaned.

I am Oop Norf in Nottingham, but originally hale from Edinburgh.

I certainly will be watching for meets, can't wait to meet like minded owners.

We have a big meet in the summer, Auto Italia, Stanford Hall in Leicestershire, first weekend in June.

Is that what used to be the Alfa Owners day? Used to go to that when I had Alfa's. I'll try to be there this time though.
