Yes that's what I thought too but I'm happy to accept that charging with the boot closed may not be best practice even at 0.8amp.

Always used a Ctek connected to a fly lead across the battery terminals. The cable is thin enough to allow the boot to close.

Just had mine done on the 4200 at the Main Dealer. I 'negotiated' an all-in price of £300. The plugs are £20 each!

Was on Latrigg in the Lakes yesterday when the 2 planes flew over Derwent Water - a classic combination of machines, scenery and good weather!

Just to add a footnote I registered my interest with Alfa Romeo UK and with 2 dealers that I've bought cars from and have received nothing back from them.

The part number shows them to be for a QP - just thought I'd check - having nothing better to do!
