    personally adam i thought the CC gearbox blipped the throttle automatically during the downchange to help match engine speeds with transmission. maybe the clackle is only audible with either decats or a sports exhaust - unless somebody is going to spill the beans :P

    thanks for the replies, the clutch disengaging at under 1100rpm is good, aswell as the speed/gear protection much like a conventional auto. thanks alex

    This might sound stupid but does the CC gearbox disengage the gear for you like a regular auto (and just try and trickle forward) or do you have to pull both paddles to stop it stalling each time you come to a stop? thanks Alex

    thanks canaero, i'v heard you can reset the clutch so it relearns how vigourously or smoothly it changes? is there much difference between the 2002 and '03 CC gearchanges regarding smoothness or are they the same as wasnt it about '03 onwards the upgraded the software slightly? thanks alex
