I didn't realise they had already started fitting electric engines

Wow they sound s***, they've taken away a massive part of the thrill of watching (and listening) to F1, think my V6 Jaaaagg will sound better.

AS long as its exciting to watch from my comfy chair I'll put up with the noise ...... Today's race was very encouraging for the future and the season....Loved it.

Australian F1 authorities claiming new engines breach their contract with Ecclestone, as they're too quiet.

I've just read that article. Apparently, Bernie is "appalled". Why wasn't he "appalled" during the three pre-season tests, then?

He probably wasn't at the pre season testing, too busy counting his piles of money!

Why wasn't he appalled more than a year ago, when the engines were being designed!!!

Details on Stewards decision re: Red Bull ... Interesting read. Appears being hit for arrogance and failure to follow technical directions in accordance with rules. Hmmmmm

Reposted into the more recent thread...

Here's an interesting take on the new rules, with the last paragraph particularly interesting.

As for the main thrust of the piece, they mention "show" too many times. It's not a show, it's a race. If you enjoy racing, then show up, tune in. If you enjoy a show, **** off down the west end.
