I was thinking Poole/Cherbourg for me, plus any others living in the Poole area (Midlife?).

Just spoke to Brittany Ferries Group Bookings and they will offer 10% off that price, bringing it down to £255 per car with up to 2 adults per car.

Makes it quite dear for those with 1 person per car, which is increasingly happening on this trip. I'd rather go through the Tunnel for that cost.

Top notch the tunnel. I loved the Tunnel run as you near Calais. I was in it with an Aston, 4 GTR's one TVR and everyone was looking and laughing at how stupidly loud mine was! Top quality entertainment!

I might decide on a change next year and go in the Ghibli - stealth mode; comfort, luxury and quiet!

It'll be quite a nice change to go on the trip in a car I have more than 60% faith will get me there and back!

Bernay madness is brought about by vodka caramels, creme de menthe and skittlebombs! I'm sure they look forward to my visit each year!

I was partly responsible for being shouted at. Always good fun when you return the apology in the local language. It was the shock of 2 forum members running between each other's rooms and the mock bottom bursting that started the trouble.

I also feel the multiple beers, vodka caramels, hodroyd miscellany stacking may have been a contributory factor.

I hope to be able to repeat the experience this coming year.

Time macccchhhhine!

One thing I will be organizing this year is a trip to Hotel De France. We went last year and met Derek Bell and loads of great petrolheads. I can get us parking outside the Hotel and arrange a meal if everyone is interested?

It wasn't our fault. We were sh!t-faced.

Anyway, not taking the flying banana would seem wrong, MAF. You'll be getting travel sweets next.

Great idea, what day is that, the Sunday evening? I am sure all of Les Blot will be up for this.

I would very much like to get a bit more organised inside the track this year, its always mayhem.
