Just a heads up for any newbies, the regulars all run the Sanif Peage toll pass, its saves hours of queuing.

Not sure if we will be taking many Peage roads this year but its well worth the £5 to get one.

The cost of the tolls are no cheaper just saves the queuing as you can take the fast lane. If you have used the Tunnel recently you can get a discount with your booking ref too.

Deadline date 31st March 2017
The French government have launched a new scheme for all cars driving in Paris and other French cities (currently Lyon and Grenoble) which will include British registered cars.
From 31/03/2017 your car needs to display an emissions sticker showing the age and cleanliness of your vehicle.
If your vehicle does not display the sticker you could face hefty on the spot fines.
The anti-pollution sticker can only be ordered on-line from the official Crit’ Air website
www.certificat-air.gouv.fr

Will this affect us?

Dont forget your radios everyone aswell

Got mine next to me to charge!

They should all work, SANEF charge you an annual fee subscription. As for radio's mines in the boot, but as a precaution I'll give it a discharge then recharge.

Hoyin's car's full of baby-sick, isn't it? Write that on a sticker and le flic will avoid him like the plague.

I think I got mine from Maplins. They are Mitex, come in a pair and they have 15 pre studded frequencies. We usually use 'stud' 1. They are about £150 a pair.

Yes, I will be creating a WhatsApp chat for the trip, the only issue is if you have 47 people on there the phone will be 'dinging' all night.

What I may impose is that the WhatsApp thread is NOT for general banter and for information about meeting up and where people are plus Police Speed traps and the like. That way one message can get everyone in the one place.

Does that sound like a plan?
