Just left the Maserati stand at goodwood. Liked the new gt more in the flesh than expected.

Interesting they are pitching it as a "replacement for the Stradale". Don't love the screen but it's better than it looks in photos.

I like the rear end / exhausts arrangement. And the wheels also far less objectionable close up

Not a fan after a sit in and play at Goodwood, photo compoare for me would never switch.... buttons in awkard places I think, climate controls not moved into the touch screen still looks like the old drivers dash no change for me very poor attempt. Spent time in McLaren hospitality and whole other world sitting and playing in the cars of the future

Automatic only?

Yes, auto only and no carbon ceramic discs either. I don't know what the suspension set up is but for me, the Stradale suspension is a huge step up from the GTS, so will be interesting to see what set up they have gone with for MY2018

Spot on, sat in a 570S last week with Maverick and they have nailed the whole cockpit. Why would anyone buy a new GT Sport over a 458 or 2 yr old Huracan?

Remember reading a number of years back an interview with the Maserati CEO and he said all Maserati's would be full Auto and the MC shift would not be in the range. It was to do with the market sector they are in and the Maserati brand apparently.

How much is the GT Sport.is it still around 100k...? Cheapest Hyracan used is 150k though....but get what you mean Phil. Maserati aren't really a competitor for these Marque.....But then you can get a 12c for 100k and that's the best car I've ever driven. The new Mclarens have it licked. There was talk about Ron Dennis being the British Enzo in the magazines.

I agree Phil. To buy a new one of these when you could have a better sounding more engaging , better looking (IMO) Stradale for something starting with a 6...

Because somebody wants a four seater V8 GT car rather than a 2 seat mid-engined V8 sports car............possibly?
