Usually we set sail (probably literally this Thursday) about 4.30 and get to Ace for 5. Any later and you get pulled into the nightmare that is the Hanger Lane in rush hour.

Morning all, can I just confirm that we need to be at the Orchard before 13:00? Having not met any of your before do we meet in the Car Park or where?

Thanks.

Yes, 1ish, if it sunny (unlikely) we will be outside overlooking the car park or more likely, all inside, just look for a group of 10 or more middle age blokes taking the **** out of a northerner (Benny) it should be pretty obvious :)

Hi John, my time keeping is so anal (was always taught to be 2 hours early rather than 2 minutes late), so I'll be in the car park for 1pm anyway.
If you are there first, there's some great views across the lake.

Look for a tall northerner with an annoying accent and when you see him approach him and say "you must be Benny".

Looking forward to meet you all, believe it or not I used to fish some of the lakes around there, but it has been a very long time.

Just look for a shaved...alright bald bloke, glasses and white handlebar moustache and goaty beard, I may even wear a Trilby or Flat Cap depending on my mood:happy2:;)

Oh although I live in the Midlands, I don't talk Black Country/Brummy, I'm still a Londoner!

Same here, I'll leave here at about 10:00 so if the traffic is clear then will be there around 12:30 ish.

There's no fixed times for the day - people come and go as they like. I doubt anyone will be there before 1, most tend to turn up about 1:30
