Hats off to you Frank. I have a used set of fronts in my garage. They are very heavy, let's see how he gets on with the rears.

Its no prob Conaero...if it helps in any way and keeps our cars on the road for longer...plus encourages owners to drive them more...then brilliant......other guys on the board have done an awful lot more, just trying to contribute something more to the cause than words.....:)....:)...plus they are sorta in my backyard, plus he was very appreciative of your efforts and interactions too.

Also, do the Ferrari people have as much grief with 900% mark-ups on their brakes pads and discs too????!!!....;)

Finally........clutch costs.................had we tried going down the relining/refurbing avenue....discussed that too today with another guy whose done it for Ferraris..thoughts?

Around a £100 a pair for the fronts and maybe £130 a pair for the rears would be a right result , hoping but really that should be about the true cost , after all the standard spec is far from special into todays market , the average standard evo and scooby discs are far superior

Can anyone verify this claim...................off the German forum.....same for the 4200?

"The cabin air filter from the 3200 GT is identical with the Alfa 166"

Dunno if theres a price differential!

That is correct and there is a big cost saving on the one i bought from eurospares.
I did post the cross reference numbers for Fram and Mahle.
The Purflux oil filter for the 4200 seams to be a no no though.
Phil.

Hi P, The clutch is being removed from the car as I speak. Happy to donate once removed. Yes I have spare front brake disks also, though they are a bit rough. Good enough to show the specification though I think. How are things progressing with BB? Regards, Miles.
