Should probably buy an automatic instead....
* whistles nonchalantly *
Evening guys , so checking the chassis number with the main dealers it’s not an MC Shift. It’s a Sport Auto. Not a bad car from initial views. There’s still service history to prove.... rear parking sensors don’t work (found out courtesy of my wife in the back saying are you sure there on this .. your very close lol) what’s the average life on a Auto sport clutch ?
Isn't the Auto Sport the ZF box with the 'MC' software. So no clutch?
<prepares to be completely incorrect>

Correct it's not an MC Shift but it is a Sport MC with a semi auto gearbox as the dealer says not a Sport Auto.
I did drive the car. 1&R as stated above. It’s defiantly not an MC of any type according to Maserati. Contigo .. time to put your money against the dealer lol. Either way I think I’m warming up to it. One thing I did note is that the front bumber had parking sensors, that’s unusual isn’t it ?

You may be confusing the lack of front sensors with an MC stradale?
Que?
If it has a 1 and R button as per the pics and now confirmed by Oliver then it is an MC Shift. Unless I'm in an alternative universe or forgotten my GT's..... All Auto cars (S, Sport, MC Auto Shift had a gear lever for their ZF boxes).
And yes I spoke to the dealer who confirmed that the car has not had a clutch replacement.
Ah I see goodfella , thanks for clarifying.
I’ve also confirmed it’s NOT an mc of any sort (Lancaster Maserati)

Here we go....
There are a few versions of the auto that it became downright confusing!!!!
4.7 GTS MC Shift (Robotic Manual Clutch, newer low friction engine power hike in MY2012 4.7 MC Shift from 434 to 444 bhp or 440 to 450 PS (same as Strad power) 1 and R buttons on centre console.
4.7 GTS Auto (ZF Box, identified with quad pipes rather than MC Shift Ovals, although the GTS Auto with sport pack added side skirts and oval pipes!)
4.7 Sport MC Auto Shift and MC box (same as the MC Shift)
4.7 GT Sport is MY13 onwards and is the current production model - seats, steering wheel, skyhook settings all changed together with a new nose, DRLs and new wheel choices.
4.7 MC and Sport MY18 with ZF 6 speed box MC Auto Shift and MC comes with same bodykit as 4 seater Strad but minus the Carbon ceramics. Power up to 460hp.
