Autoffiscina on Crack?

I must admit, I don't know much about this bunch but am quickly forming an opinion.

Not only did they seem to think that a 35k miler GS is worth £33k, now they have purchased Donny Macs GS for £26k, washed it, put on £5k and put it up for £31k.

In my eyes, they are the most deluded dealer out there.

Does anyone have anything positive to say about them?

Morning all,

They didn't buy it from me, it's on SOR.

Had loads of interest in the car but kept on losing out to equivalent dealer cars as owners needed to chop in a px or wait to sell before buying mine, so I got bored of ferrying the cars around as I've got four and only two spaces out front.

I had it up at £28k give or take a few pennies and potentials didn't have a problem with the price, now it'll come with a 12 month warranty and dealer services, which IMO it didn't need as it's in excellent order, but I'm not going to px someone's car, so off it went to them.

Excellent dealer though - always some great metal in there.

Hopefully they'll get a few more GS's in and move the market :D

I'll let you know how they get on.

See you in the spring,
Donny

Seems like standard practice so far......so no, not on crack but they can sit on it for a few months yet at that price

From what I've read, the general concencus on Autoficcina is that they're a good bunch, very enthusiastic. Many people in the Ferrari community rate them very highly.

My personal experience with them tells me they're priced similarly to other specialist for servicing (only quoted when looking to buy a GS, have yet to use them).

From a car retail perspective, I would agree they're pricy and having seen a GS spyder go to auction and then see them retailing it, would agree their margin are generous. Again, from what I read, the cars they sell are well prepd, so perhaps they spend on their stock too.

I guess if your paying for a premium product at a premium specialist, you'd expect a premium car (condition and after sales support etc) which would have the appropriate price attached, and when it's SOR, they don't have much of a say in the starting price.

Fair enough Donny, its a bit optimistic if I am honest but a mans gota do what a mans gota do I suppose.

Good luck with it.

I didn't price the car, they did.

These cars are becoming rare so there is nothing wrong with the price IMHO.

A really large gap has opened up between GranTurismos' with the 4.2 engine and those with the 4.7. No reason why the gap between 4200 and GS will not get wider.

Matt will sing a different tune when he has a GS in his possession!

It's always the way, buyers think cars being advertised are two expensive and owners think they're going too cheap. As i'm in the latter camp I'm liking seeing the high prices.

I do think the price variances are massive though 10-15k miles difference seems to make about £10k difference in price, crazy if you ask me
