Some stats from last year....

We raised over £2000.

We had 15 cars arrive, but one of those sadly broke down (heroic drive by Greg and Mrs Greg from the far reaches of Scotland, and 2 days to get home again, and not a lot of track time), one only did a couple of laps and went home, and another (non-Maserati) just didn't really spark any interest with the punters.

The remaining 12 cars still raised over £2000....

That equated to 284 laps sold, with 1..3 passengers in each ride.

On average then, our cars did 24 laps, but there was quite a spread in how many each car did, and how many the drivers did. For example, AndyK generously :D did a 40 minute stint driving my car, as well as the stints I did.

We need 25 cars please to make it easier on the cars and the drivers. If we have a full set, it will allow the drivers to see some of the rest of the event, rather than being either on the track or marshalling. And it means we can rotate the cars out before the brakes get too hot... The track was swept to within an inch of its life last year, so no stone chips - something Brunty has gained a now unfair reputation for.

Where else are you going to get a track day for £10, be allowed to drive at full chat on a circuit without a helmet, and be part of such a cracking day out?

We also need people willing to help out at the gate, selling the tickets, taking money, marshalling the cars and pax, making sure the drivers are in a fit state to drive etc... Can we have a list for those people too please? Even if you only want to help for an hour, it means someone else doesn't have to be working all day.

OK, I'll send you some bits that's on my mind that you can go through as well if that's OK.......Probably what's on your mind to be honest Drew.

Brilliant. If you want to have a phone chat before you disappear on hols too, that might be a good idea.
